Some of the popular silk saree varieties include Banarasi silk sarees, Kanjeevaram silk sarees, Mysore silk sarees, Baluchari silk sarees, and Paithani silk sarees, among others.

Tant sarees are woven using fine cotton threads and are characterized by their transparent and breathable texture. They are usually lightweight and ideal for hot and humid weather conditions.

Chanderi sarees are usually made from a blend of silk and cotton threads, resulting in a lightweight and translucent fabric. The sarees are characterized by their glossy texture and delicate motifs woven into the fabric.

Batik prints can vary in design, ranging from traditional motifs and symbols to modern and abstract patterns. The designs often reflect the cultural heritage and artistic traditions of the region where they are created.

Dhakai Jamdani

Traditionally, Jamdani sarees were woven with cotton threads. However, contemporary variations may also incorporate silk or a blend of silk and cotton to enhance the richness and drape of the saree.

Handloom sarees are made using different types of fibers, including cotton, silk, or a blend of both. Each type of fiber offers distinct characteristics and textures.

Khadi fabric is traditionally made from cotton fibers that are spun by hand using a spinning wheel called a charkha. The yarn is then handwoven on a traditional handloom to create the khadi fabric.

Dhone Khali

Dhonekhali sarees are primarily woven using cotton yarns. They are known for their lightweight, breathable, and comfortable nature, making them suitable for regular wear, especially in hot and humid climates.

Muslin sarees are characterized by their sheer and airy nature. They are typically made from finely woven cotton threads, resulting in a fabric that is soft, comfortable, and drapes gracefully.

Mal Mal

Malmal sarees are highly sought after for their comfort and ease of wearing. The fabric is gentle on the skin and provides a cool and airy feel, making it suitable for various occasions, especially in warm climates.

Cotton Saree (Minu Chapa)

Cotton sarees come in a wide variety of designs, weaves, and styles. They can be plain or adorned with different types of prints, patterns, embroidery, or embellishments.
